They aren't mainstream yet, but getting there. I was able to purchase a tall framed "City Bike" fairly easily...upgrades are another issue. Only view I have of bikes from my room...is the one(s) in the room LOL, or the occasional youngster on a BMX jumping curbs in the near by parking lot. Whith rear or front chair, both, whith trailer,whith basket, cargo,etc. Here the few people who use bikes try to do all in a simple mountain bike. for example I saw a man whith 2 kids, one on the frame and the other on the seat and he was pedaling whithout siting, and many blocks!! Amazing how you have diferent kinds of bike, depending your need.
